Does doctrine change over time?
Deepening is not inventing another faith.
The Church can explain a truth better with the passage of time, answer new questions, and clarify expressions. But she cannot change the faith received from Christ as if it were a passing fashion.
Growing in understanding does not mean contradicting the origin. Living doctrine is not modelling clay; it is a received truth that becomes known with ever greater depth.
This question needs calm, not a slogan. Many doubts are better understood when you separate matters: what faith says, what reason can see, what comes from personal experience, and what perhaps springs from a wound or prejudice.
Key idea
The Church deepens doctrine without manufacturing a different faith.
