Do not reduce yourself to a mistake
Your mistake says something, but not everything.
Responsibility calls for acknowledging what you did, not hiding it or shifting it onto others. But acknowledging guilt does not mean remaining locked in it forever.
God looks at the full truth: the harm, the freedom, the repentance, and the way back. Maturity begins when you stop justifying yourself and also when you stop crushing yourself.
Here the underlying question is simple: what is truly leading your life. Sometimes there are many tasks, many plans, and much information, but little direction. When a truth truly enters, it also changes the calendar and the way you look at yourself.
Key idea
Being responsible means answering for your actions without losing hope.
Your challenge for this idea
Ask forgiveness for something concrete without adding an excuse at the end.
