Do not believe everything you feel
An emotion can inform without having the last word.
Feelings are real, but they do not always interpret reality accurately. You can feel resistance toward a good duty, fear before a necessary conversation, or sadness without everything being lost.
Maturity does not consist in crushing what you feel, but in listening to it and bringing it into the light of truth. Then it is time to decide with intelligence, faith, and freedom.
It is not about denying what you feel or living with a mask. It is about giving emotion its proper place: listening to it, naming it, looking at it with truth, and deciding afterwards with greater freedom. Feeling something very strongly does not mean it has to command.
Key idea
Emotions must be listened to and ordered by truth.
Your challenge for this idea
Name an emotion of yours today and ask yourself what real fact keeps it standing.
