Do not be a couch Christian
Faith that never moves ends up dying out.
A comfortable faith can seem peaceful, but it gradually loses strength. If it remains only in ideas, preferences, or private moments, it ends up separated from the people who need something from you.
Jesus did not call his disciples to watch life from a distance. He put them on the road, close to the sick, the poor, sinners, difficult friends, and tired crowds.
Today too faith asks to move. Sometimes it will be serving at home, accompanying someone, defending those without a voice, or fulfilling a responsibility better.
Key idea
Faith matures when it passes from feeling to self-giving.
