Difference can enrich

What is different does not always threaten; sometimes it broadens.

When someone comes from another culture, sensibility, or background, you can see it as a complication. It changes codes, customs, schedules, meals, words, and ways of understanding life. But difference can also teach. It shows you that your way is not the only one, that there are gifts distributed everywhere, and that reality is wider than your habit. Christian unity does not need uniformity. It can welcome differences and order them towards the common good.

Key idea

Differences can be an occasion for encounter and mutual growth.

Your challenge for this idea

Ask someone from another background today what custom or value they appreciate from their story.
