Curiosity can also become a doorway

Mark as read

You don't need to have it all figured out to take the first step toward God.

Maybe you don't really know what you believe. You don't go to Mass, you don't pray much, but something about faith intrigues you: how someone you know lives, a question that won't go away, a church you go into now and then. That curiosity is already a beginning. God doesn't look down on small first steps or demand great convictions to start. He usually takes advantage of whatever opening you leave him, however small. And when he really comes in, he ends up touching the most concrete parts of life: how you treat others, what you do with your money, what matters to you. But it can all start with something as simple as wanting to see up close.

Key idea

God makes use even of curiosity to come into your life.

Your challenge for this idea

Give that curiosity a chance today: read a chapter of the Gospel slowly.
