The cross is not the end

The cross is not a sad decoration or an invitation to seek pain for pain's sake. It is the place where Christ enters to the depths of human suffering and opens it to the Resurrection. When something weighs on you, faith does not ask you to deny the wound. It invites you to unite it to Jesus, ask for help, sustain possible good, and not let darkness dictate the last sentence. Christian hope does not erase tears, but it gives them a horizon. With Christ, the cross can be a path forward, not a dead end.
