Closeness speaks louder than words
Sometimes love is understood better through gestures than explanations.
There are correct words that fail to arrive because closeness is lacking. You can say that someone matters, but if you do not look, do not listen, and do not make room, the message remains weak.
Closeness translates love into a language that almost everyone understands: time, presence, touch, practical help, patience, a phone call, a chair set out. Jesus preached, but he also touched, walked, ate, and stopped. Charity needs a body.
