Charity is not for tomorrow

Many times you know what you could do for someone, but you leave it for later. Sending a message, reaching out, helping with a task, asking for forgiveness, visiting, listening. It does not seem urgent, so it remains waiting. The problem is that some needs have a specific hour. The person who is down today does not always need a theory, but rather a presence. The favor you can do today may already arrive late or cold tomorrow. Charity does not live on great future plans. It lives on concrete responses. If the good is clear and you can do it right now, there is no need to dress it up too much: take the step.
