Being the protagonist is not doing it alone

Being responsible for your life does not mean becoming an island. There are decisions that only you can make, but that does not mean you have to discover all paths alone, bear every burden, or see yourself with total clarity. Family, friends, professionals, and people of spiritual life can offer experience, correction, and support. Receiving them does not replace your freedom: it gives you more reality to exercise it. Then it is up to you to weigh, decide, and answer for the chosen step. Childish dependence expects someone else to solve everything; immature self-sufficiency rejects any help. Adult interdependence unites initiative and trust. You know that your answer is irreplaceable, and at the same time you appreciate that God often cares for and guides you through others.
