Beauty also prays

Beauty is not simply something pretty to look at for a single second. It can awaken you from within: a sunset, the sea, a good friendship, a conversation that restores peace to you. When something beautiful touches you, there is no need to complicate things too much. You can give thanks, remain in silence, or tell God: "this also speaks of you." Prayer does not always have to begin with perfect words. Created beauty is not God, but it can certainly lead you toward him. If you learn to receive it, it helps you lift your gaze and remember that life is not reduced merely to noise, haste, and productivity.
