Be faithful to what was promised

Loyalty does not live only in grand oaths. It shows in arriving on time, fulfilling a task, caring for a friendship, and not betraying what someone entrusted. A loyal person rests better because they do not split their life into different versions. They know their word has value, even if keeping it costs more than planned. It helps not to go to extremes. Neither living tight and joyless, nor calling freedom doing whatever you feel like at any moment. Virtue takes another path: ordering desires so that they help you live better, not so that they rule over everything.
