Ask God for more faith
"Increase our faith," the apostles told him. You can ask for it too.
We often think that faith is something you either have or do not have, and that increasing it depends only on reading or understanding more. But faith is, above all, a gift. And gifts are asked for. The apostles simply said to Jesus: "Increase our faith."
It is not magic or a switch that turns it on all at once. It grows through personal relationship: praying, recognizing God in what happens to you, taking the step even if you do not see everything clearly. But it begins with something as simple as asking for it.
When you doubt, when you notice it is weak, do not stay fighting only with your head. Say to him with confidence: "Lord, I believe, but help me believe more." That short prayer opens more doors than it seems.
